 Why?

  • Life Sciences, Medical Technology and Health (in short: “Lifetec”) are key issues in  the economic development of South-East Netherlands.
  • As an entrepreneur you play a crucial role in this development, which is why many network associations focus on you
  • Entrepreneurs, however, want to have access to the best available information & services preferably from ONE source.
  • Result: ONE organisation – LifetecZONe - one-stop-shop to information and support on all aspects of entrepreneurship and/or starting your own business in South-East Netherlands

For more details on our goals read About Us

The website has been redesigned, based on the content of the Life Sciences Limburg website, and continues to present you information and support on all aspects of entrepreneurship and/or starting your own business in South-East Netherlands.

The menu structure has improved to make it easier for you to navigate through it, and some new items have been added.

The website remains, however, a work in progress, as we are always looking for new ways to fulfil our mission and be of use to you, so add us to your list of favourites,  and keep returning and discover what we have to offer!!

We would love to hear your feedback, and if you have any comments, please mail them to us! Now browse around and enjoy!

   NEW: LifetecZONe's Facility Sharing Portal! - 21-08-08
This Lifetec Facility Sharing Portal offers an overview of facilities within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, food & nutrition and medical technology sectors. It is developed to improve innovation in small & medium sized entrepreneurs by linking them to those companies that offer to share their facilities. To innovate and to improve their production, small entrepreneurs need expertise, research, test & (test) production facilities, but often do not have the means to finance these. On the other hand, for companies that have invested in specialized equipment, it is an interesting option to spread (under certain conditions) the risks and costs, and to improve the capacity utilization of these costly tools.

   Health Care Alert E&Y - 24-07-08
Lopen ziekenhuizen die tegemoetkomingen aan de leden van de Raad van
Toezicht (RvT) betalen het risico dat zij de rangschikking van algemeen
nut beogende instelling (anbi) mislopen? Het lijkt erop dat dit niet het
geval is. In ieder geval geldt dit voor academische ziekenhuizen (UMC’s).
Of dit voor perifere ziekenhuizen en andere zorginstellingen ook geldt,
is vooralsnog niet duidelijk.
