Gazelle Award voor Maastricht Instruments - 27-10-11
 | Maastricht Instruments is heeft voor de tweede keer in de historie de Gazelle Award gekregen, een onderscheiding van het Financieele Dagblad.
Dit is de tweede keer (2007 en 2011) in haar historie dat MI de Gazelle Award van het Financiele Dagblad ontvangt. De omzetgroei over 2008, 2009 en 2010 was 88%.
Per provincie krijgt een van de genomineerden de ‘Gouden Gazelle’, die voor zuid Nederland 17 november as in Den Bosch zal worden uitgereikt. Het is nog onbekend wie de Limburgse ‘Gouden Gazelle’ zal ontvangen en wie de andere genomineerden zijn.

 | Biomedica2011 was held at Technical University Eindhoven on April 7 & 8. We were pleased to welcome 675 people on day 1 and 465 on day 2, so in total 1140 visitors including 55 speakers and of course the exhibitors visited Biomedica2011.

IPC awarded: 18 LifetecZONe members receive a combined € 1 million subsidy - 07-09-10
| Building on the experience of the first Innovation Performance Contract “IPC” (in which 26 members participate), 18 members showed interest in participation in an IPC. Based on this interest, an inventory of project proposals was made. This resulted in the submission of an IPC-application on January 11th, labeled “sensor development and sensor use in new applications”. After thorough examination of the plans by Agentschap NL (the former SenterNovem), the participants were awarded with a subsidy of roughly € 50.000 each. |
