With its excellent and innovative design, the Miscea by WeLL Design has succeeded in one of the most renowned and hardest international design competitions. In the red dot award: product design 2009 the top-class jury awarded the “red dot: best of the best” for highest design quality only 49 times among the 3,231 submitted products. According to the judgement of the jury, MISCEA is among these 49 pioneering design products. The festive awards presentation with more than 1,000 guests will take place in the Essen Opera House, the Aalto Theatre, on 29 June 2009.

Miscea: a new generation of touch-free multifunctional taps.

The product developed by WeLL Design is a tap and a dispenser in one, combining elegant design with innovative technology for situations where strict hygiene is an absolute must. It is now widely used in hospitals and the food industry, and increasingly also in public toilets, airports, factories and even homes. And, with its efficient system of pouch packages for the dispenser function, the system responds perfectly to the growing ecological awareness within the sanitary industry.

The innovative design combines the latest sensor technology with LEDs to provide user feedback. The makes it easy to control water flow, temperature and the dispensing of two additional liquids – soap, disinfectant or detergent, for example. A simple hand movement is enough to activate the required function. After use, the device automatically returns to stand-by mode.
