1st BioTech Business Café great success!

With 65 participants the first BioTech Business Café on Feb. 2nd at the Colonel Building in Maastricht was a success!

Initiated by LSP, LIOF, Biopartner Center Maastricht, Life Sciences Limburg, Limburg Ventures, BioMedbooster and Ernst & Young,  the first Café focussed on the theme: “From ambition to initiative, to start-up, to growth”.

The first café was opened by Mr. Martin Eurlings, deputy Province of Limburg, and Dr. Wolfgang Söhngen, CEO of PAION AG was the first “entrepreneur” to share his experience in developing a business.

Next Dr. Fred Bollen, of BioMedbooster, talked about  "Business Development and Early Financing of Starting Companies in Life Sciences. " And Tom Scwartz, Life Science Partners, talked about "Financing Start-Ups". Petra van Zuylen from Ernst & Young closed the presentation sessions.

 Then food and drinks awaited the participants to create the informal setting for a discussion on the topics or just networking.
