Vividlinks, the Life Sciences Career Community, will spread the first newsletter since the launch of the portal in October 2009. Full of interesting facts & figures, news and events and personal stories, you don’t want to miss it!

The portal was officially launched during Biomedica 2009 when the newest functionality was implemented: the people section. By creating a people profile, visitors of the portal are able to connect to other Life Sciences students and professionals and start networking in a Euregional setting.

By adding more functionalities, like a forum and a blog, the portal is much more than just job board. Jean-Louis Delforge, project coordinator: “It is a meeting point – a community – where you can find relevant information, such as the latest news and an events calendar for the sector, as well as information about what it is like to move to another country for your job, for example."

The newsletter is again another feature that will enable the reader to catch up on Life Sciences facts, news and events. But the newsletter also has a personal touch: in the section Found @ Vividlinks, a community user is interviewed about his or her use of Vividlinks. In this way we will be able to see the people in the community.
