LifetecZONe THE partner for entrepreneurs!

• Life Sciences, Medical Technology and Health (in short: “Lifetec”) are key issues in  the economic development of South-East Netherlands.
• As an entrepreneur you play a crucial role in this development, which is why many network associations focus on you
• Entrepreneurs, however, want to have access to the best available information & services preferably from one source. Therefore, Life Sciences Limburg (initiated by LIOF), Human Health Programme (initiated by BOM) and Care Pro (initiated by Syntens) have combined their activities.
• Result: ONE organisation – LifetecZONe - one-stop-shop to information and support on all aspects of entrepreneurship and/or starting your own business in South-East Netherlands

The South-East region is the leading region for product development in the field of Lifetec in The Netherlands. In Europe our region even ranks among the top three! What is the strength of this region? A strong network of SME’s working closely together! With LifetecZONe  the region now offers ONE network association active in supporting your product innovations, offering networking opportunities, personalizing your access to finance resources (subsidies & starter grants). Furthermore LifetecZONe is active in attracting and facilitating new businesses in South-East Netherlands, and plays an active role in promoting our region internationally.

What will LifetecZONe do for you?

• Organise networking sessions
• Identify and present new  Life Science developments
• Introduce you to the large research programmes such as BMM and CTMM
• Maintain and update database The Atlas, which allows a search on the key competences of Life Science companies and institutions free of charge.
• Initiate cross-border projects with neighbouring regions to  provide the members of LifetecZONe with additional opportunities for exchange of knowledge, cooperation and business transactions
• Set up and coordinate product development projects
• Generate new businesses for the Lifetec sector
• Stimulate and follow technostarters in Lifetec
• Organise and partner in large scale cluster projects within our network
• In collaboration with BioLiège, LifeTecAachen-Jülich and LifeTechLimburg.be organise Biomedica, where our region and our members are promoted internationally
• Present our region on national and international events
• Advise on subsidy programs and finance opportunities

With all these activities, companies and knowledge institutions are triggered to interact, thus sharing their expertise and knowledge and enhancing their key competences. And by supporting innovative ideas and stimulating your business development we help to make  this region a more attractive one to companies seeking partners in this area.

In short: LifetecZONe offers you key resources, targeted information, participation in programs, and networking opportunities to help you and your business reach their maximum potential.

To achieve  all this we need members. Our members are entrepreneurs in the Life Sciences sector, academic researchers, members of universities and knowledge institutes, care centres and those with an affiliation to this field.
